What types of fur are there and how do I know which one my dog has?
Short coat
Very short (1–2 cm), smooth hair that lies close to the body – with or without undercoat. Typical breeds: Boxer, French Bulldog, Doberman.
Long coat
Long topcoat (up to 20 cm), often with dense undercoat and soft, flowing hair. Typical breeds: Poodle, Golden Retriever, Yorkshire Terrier.
Wire coat
Dense, coarse topcoat with some undercoat. Robust and water-repellent. Typical breeds: Wirehaired Dachshund, Schnauzer, Airedale Terrier.
Double coat
Medium-length topcoat (3–10 cm) with dense undercoat – the classic “double coat.” Typical breeds: German Shepherd, Husky, Labrador Retriever.

Appointments can be canceled easily online, by phone, or email – please do so at least 24 hours in advance so we can reassign the slot.
