How is a surgery performed at your facility?
Before the surgery, we conduct a general examination of your pet to check its health status as well as its suitability for anesthesia and surgery. You will then have a detailed discussion with one of our veterinarians who will explain the procedure of the operation to you precisely. We use gentle anesthesia and continuously monitor your pet during anesthesia by a veterinary medical assistant and with monitors according to clinic standards.
What are the costs of treatment (e.g., neutering, surgery, examination)?
Our prices are based on the "Gebührenordnung für Tierärzte" (GOT, Fee Schedule for Veterinarians). Please note that the final cost depends on factors such as the type of procedure, the size, age, and overall health of your pet. This means the complexity of the treatment and required medication may vary.
Can I come without an appointment? Are there appointments for spontaneous visits?
You can visit us without an appointment; however, please be aware that this may involve waiting times. We recommend calling in advance if possible. If that’s not feasible, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Can I book an appointment for multiple animals at the same time?
Yes! Please indicate in the appointment comments if you are bringing a second pet, and we will extend the appointment accordingly. Alternatively, you can book two consecutive appointments, which we can then combine.
How can I pay?
Payment is only possible by card – simple, secure and convenient.
Do you offer installment payments?
We appreciate your understanding that we accept card payments exclusively. We do not offer cash payment or purchase on account.
Do you bill directly with insurance?
No. After your visit, you will receive an invoice via email. You must forward this invoice to your insurance company to receive reimbursement.
Do you offer house calls?
No, we do not offer a mobile service. However, you will soon be able to address many concerns comfortably from home via our chat and video consultation service. Our veterinarians are available for further treatments in our practices.
Why do we offer Wellness Wednesday?
We would like to draw your attention to how important regular preventive appointments are to ensure your pet's health in the long term. With regular check-ups, we can identify and treat health problems at an early stage. Our Wellness Wednesday is there to encourage you to proactively monitor your animals' health and ensure they receive the best possible care. With a thorough examination and a great voucher for our product shop, we hope to motivate you to take regular preventive appointments and do something good for you at the same time.
Is there an app and what can I do with it?
We now have our own filu app! In the app you can, for example, book appointments, view findings and manage the most important information about your pet. Alternatively, you can still use my.filu in the browser on your cell phone or computer - just visit my.filu.vet/dashboard.
